Tandem Bike Mural

Measuring 65 feet in length, the 22-person tandem bike extends the full underpass on the Lancaster Bike Trail. This underpass connects two neighborhoods. It's used daily by residents for exercise and also practical purposes, including accessing the nearest grocery store and hospital.

 
 
 

A COMMUNITY EFFORT

With the help of the Fairfield Heritage Trail Association, middle & high school students, community volunteers, hospital employees, and even a passing resident, we were able to brighten a not-so-friendly underpass and bring some joy to the neighborhood.
